People Who Cannot Do, Blog.

So I didn't get the internship. Which is fine, I didn't really want to drive to pioneer square everyday anyway. Back to the drawing board, I guess. The drawing board being the internet where I look for jobs.

In other, more random news, I went Line Dancing last Friday, which was a new experience for me. I didn't know people wore cowboy hats in Washington, but yes, yes they do. And fanny packs.

Line Dancing is complicated. I am terrible at it, but that's not surprising. I'm a universally terrible dancer. Years of ballet, karate and gymnastics did nothing for my coordination, and may in fact have confused the spatial thinking portions of my brain. It is so bad that I've always had a sneaking suspicion that some clumsy act on my part will be the cause of my death, though it might possibly be my clumsiness combined with my obliviousness. But I had fun anyway. Everyone moved around the dance floor in a weird circle holding their partner's hands in complicated ways when it was free style dancing time, which I did not participate in.

I did do the singles Line Dancing though, and learned the Watermelon Crawl. There is a song called the Watermelon Crawl which goes along with the dance.

Oh, Line Dancing, where have you been all my life?

Here is the Watermelon Crawl; it looked even more pathetic when I did it.
